Choose around an existing activity
If you already have eligible grocery receipts, a receipt workflow may fit better than starting an unfamiliar game. If you are not shopping, making an unnecessary purchase for points can cost more than the reward. If you prefer tasks, inspect a specific survey or game milestone rather than choosing from a maximum earning claim.
Check the desired card before investing time. A gift-card catalog can vary; do not assume every denomination is always present.
Compare the remaining gap
Suppose you want a $10 card. You have $8 of usable reward value in one account and $1 in another. The remaining gaps are $2 and $9. Now compare the tasks or purchases actually available to close those gaps.
Do not compare raw point totals. Different point scales make a larger number look more valuable without telling you its dollar value.
Count spending honestly
A hypothetical $2 reward on a $20 item is not $2 of net new income if you bought the item solely for the reward. If you needed it anyway, compare the final price with another store. The lower total cost matters more than the larger points animation.
